    ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS

The Society of Family Counsellors and Therapists expresses its profound gratitude to Chana Wainer, the President of the International Family Therapy Association in 2002-2003 and the first psychologist who taught systemic family therapy in Russia (many of the Society's members were her students); Boris Masterov for conducting fund-raising seminars for the Society; Florence Kaslow, Kittie La Perrier and Gianfranco Cecchin, who held free training seminars in Moscow; Arild Aambo, Catherine Baker and Peter Titelman, who taught courses for the Society's members.

The Society would like to thank its many colleagues - psychologists, psychiatrists, educators and social workers - for their free presentations, lectures and reports, which furthered the development of family theory and served to build a good image of our profession.
